European Candidates
Applications
Application to the undergraduate program takes place online and begins with:
- filling in a registration form
- transmittal of the required documentation
- completion of a motivational test
Before starting the online application, we recommend downloading and reading the following documents.
Candidates with diplomas obtained outside of Italy
The validity of foreign diplomas for admission to Italian universities varies depending on the laws of the country of origin as well as those of Italy. Requirements for enrolling to an undergraduate program are established by the Italian Government.
Candidates with secondary-school diplomas obtained outside of Italy must demonstrate the following educational status:
- at least 12 years of schooling
- eligibility for admission to university in both their home country and in Italy
More information on the Italian school system and on how to attend a program in Italy is available on the Study in Italy website.
Required Admission Documents
- secondary-school diploma (valid for university enrollment)
Note that for all educational documents (diplomas, degrees, certificates, transcripts) granted outside of Italy, official translations and an Italian consular accreditation (“dichiarazione di valore”) must be obtained by the student and delivered to the UNISG Registrar’s Office to the following address:
Registrar's Office - University of Gastronomic Sciences
Via Amedeo di Savoia, 8
12042 Bra (Cn) - Fraz. Pollenzo - Italy
(The consulate may choose to send the document directly to UNISG.) In some cases, application to UNISG must be completed through an Italian consular representative. Applicants should contact their local Italian consulate as early as possible to endure adequate time for all consular processes.
- motivational letter
- curriculum vitae in EU format
- certification of computer skills
- certification of English-language knowledge (for non-native speakers)
Transfer Students
Candidates already enrolled in other Italian universities may apply for transfer to UNISG. Following the successful completion of the admission tests, and depending on available space, candidates will be asked to provide:
- transfer certificate from the university of origin
- transcript from the university of origin showing exams passed and respective marks, university credits, and the program in which the student is enrolled
