Transfer from the Master to the
Two-Year Graduate Program
*

* This option is currently in the process of being redefined. Updates will be available shortly.

After completing the master-program coursework (given between November and July of the following year), students have obtained the necessary credits to transfer into the second year of the two-year graduate program in Gastronomy and Food Communications.

Those students wishing to continue their studies in gastronomy for a second year may therefore choose to participate in this transfer program. Two partial scholarships, valued at €9,000 each, are available to students choosing to do so. The financial and academic requirements required for eligibility will be made available at the master office.

Student loans are available under the same conditions as those for students in the two-year graduate program.

Students transfering from the master into the two-year graduate program will receive the UNISG two-year graduate degree instead of a master degree.

For students in the transfer program, the calendar is as follows:

Year I

November - July

  • Qualifying courses for the two-year graduate program
  • Regular master courses
  • Exams
  • Approximately six weeks of study trips (in Italy and one other European country)

August

  • School holiday

Year II

September - March

  • Second-year graduate courses

September - March

  • Internship
  • Preparation and presentation of final thesis
  • Conferral of graduate degree in Gastronomy and Food Communications
