Thursday April 12 they discuss their final dissertation and Friday April 13 proclamation
Students hail from Italy, Russia, Australia and Vietnam
On Thursday April 12 and Friday April 13 2018 fourteen students hailing from Italy, Russia, Australia and Vietnam will discuss their final dissertation and receive their diplomas as Masters in Italian Wine Culture.
The proclamation will take place Friday, April 13 in the Aula Magna from 12.30 pm. Right after the Graduation, some of the new graduates will be immediately hands on at Vinitaly 2018 in Verona, working for major Italian wine companies.
Here are their names and theses:
Sara Cortese, 25, from Carmagnola (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Studies on the production of Sparkling Nebbiolo Metodo Classico in Piedmont”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Loreta Efir, 25, from Russia, is presenting the thesis “Wine export market and study of commercial potential in Russia and Eastern Europe”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Alice Gayet, 23, from Moncalieri (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Edward Hopper: in between lights and shadows”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Paolo Gentile, 28, from Rome (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Interpreting a place: The cases of Giovanni Battista Piranesi with Rome and Fabrizio Bianchi with Chianti classico”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Helena Morgana Germanetto, 24, from Cherasco (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Can biodynamics restore the identity of an Appellation? The Vino Nobile di Montepulciano’s case”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Peter Michael Martinek, 43, from Australia, is presenting the thesis “Natural wines are they more expressive of the terroir than conventional wine?”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Francesco Martini, 27, from Castagnero (Italy), is presenting the thesis ” Words that taste raw (for wine interlocutors)”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Luigi Pagani, 24, from Appiano Gentile (Italy) is presenting the thesis “Drip irrigation in viticulture: anti-terroir or quality tool?” , with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Marta Passaseo, 27, from (Italy), is presenting the thesis “The disobedient Naturalness”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Hoàng Anh Pham, 33, from Vietnam, is presenting the thesis “Wine appreciation and how Italian wine is fighting its way into Vietnam””, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Alice Reddavid, 28, from Turin (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Confiscated lands and their new life”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Giacomo Sandri, 32, from Milan (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Discovering the art of natural wine making through the art of Caravaggio”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Emanuele Trono, 26, from Savigliano (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Keypoints for an efficient marketing strategy in the wine world of today”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
Clemente Zecca, 23, from Lecce (Italy), is presenting the thesis “Sustainability and viticulture: The impact of global warming on vines and the solutions we can implement, which will start a clean energy revolution and sustainable viticulture”, with prof. Michele Antonio Fino.
